Question:

What hitch and wiring do you recommend for my 2019 Taurus? Right now I'll be using the hitch for a bike rack but I want to keep my options open in case I end up towing a small trailer in the future. TIA

I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e85KR on your 2019 Ford Taurus because it's the only option with the matte black finish. This finish looks better and offers more protection against road debris than the classic glossy black finish that you find on the other options. Then for wiring you'll want to use the Curt T-Connector # C56093 which tees in behind your tail lights and pulls power directly from your battery.

Then if you don't already have a bike rack I recommend checking out the Inno Tire Hold # INH120. This is a mid-range platform rack that makes it really easy to load your bikes due to the adjustable tire holder system. These arms just ratchet down on your tires and the wheel size can be adjusted with the included tire grips.
