How is Wiring Connected for Goal Zero Yeti Link Vehicle Integration Kit
Published 11/01/2022 >
Question:
Looking at installing the yeti vehicle kit to the bed of my truck where my battery is. Is there a connection box/adapter to mount to the side of the truck bed? Ideally could easily plug and unplug the battery. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The box part of the Goal Zero Yeti Link Vehicle Integration Kit # GZ43ZR installs on top of the Goal Zero Yeti itself, like part # GZ64FR, and then provides a plug on one end to hook up to AC power (like what you have in your house) as well as a plug to connect the wiring that runs to your vehicle battery. So the box won't need to be mounted in your truck bed as there will just be a cord running out of the battery that needs to be plugged into the Yeti.
Hope this helps out! I've attached a photo to help demonstrate this.
