Question:
Hello, I have a 2022 Mazda CX-5 AWD Turbo and Im looking for the lowest profile crossbars available. Any option for mounting is fine with me flush mount, rail, or raised rail. From pictures it seems like the Thule WingBar Edge or the Inno Aero flush mount would be the lowest profile. Does it help that flush mount bars appear that they could shift the mounting point forwards or backwards a bit? Every fraction of an inch matters, trying to fit a low profile cargo box on top and squeeze it into my fairly small garage. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
The lowest-profile roof rack for your 2022 Mazda CX-5 is the flush-mounted Inno rack on your bare roof. The overall height added will be 4 inches give or take a small amount (the curves of the roof will mean this can vary). The flush-mount does not shift the mounting point, however, as the feet have to be positioned at specific points on your CX-5, per the instructions. The parts that make up the Inno rack that fit your '22 CX-5 are the following:
- Inno Aero Crossbars # INXB108-115
- Inno Flush Feet for Aero Crossbars # INXS200
- Custom Fit Kit # INK497
