Is Bike Rack Needed to Use Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter
Published 10/05/2022 >
Question:
Hello - Im interested in the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Hitch Bike Racks but I don't currently have a Thule Bike rack. Is it possible to purchase the Thule hitch attachment as a standalone item without purchasing a full bike rack? Or is purchasing a bike rack the only way to get the necessary attachment for the ski rack? thanks

You do need a hitch-mounted, hanging bike rack in order to use the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Hitch Bike Racks # TH9033.
There isn't a standalone hitch attachment that allows this carrier to be used.
