How far does the plug handle stick out? Will a cover of a surge protector close properly with this handle on the plug? Thank you!

From where the plug of the Epicord Hardwire RV Power Cord # 277-000146 plugs into the outlet to the furthest point out measures 2-3/8 inches. Since there's no standard surge protector dimension you'd have to compare that to what you have to see if it would fit.
