Question:
Can you tell me the size a kind of bolt and type of thread to use for bolting the hitch to the frame on a 1993 chevy k1500 FWD.

Most of the hitches offered for that vehicle would use 1/2-13x1-3/4 Grade 5 bolts, you will need 4 of them, as well as the nuts and a flat and lock washer and block washer for each bolt. The rearmost connection point utilizes a nut that has been welded into the frame, for this connection you would need two M12x1.75x45mm CL10.9 bolts.
