Replacement AC Unit for Coleman Mach on 2004 Fleetwood Jamboree

Question:

Hello, I am looking to replace the 13,500 Coleman Mach Rooftop AC in my 2004 Fleetwood Jamboree with a 15K Unit . Id like the easiest install with the most reliable AC out there. The model number is: 8633b6762 . What would you suggest. Thanks

What you're looking for is the 15,000 Btu Advent Air Conditioner which comes as the standard unit as part # ACM150B or with the start capacitor as part # ACCOL150B. I recommend going with the one that has the start capacitor because it brings down the amount of power consumed at that initial surge of energy when the AC unit is turned on. The Advent units fall in about middle of the road when it comes to performance but we have found these units to be very reliable which is reflected in the reviews.

This comes with a wiring kit that just plugs into the existing Coleman Mach wiring for an easy installation, but it won't be compatible with a Mach 6000 or 7000 series or if your model has a heat pump. If you have one of those models then you'll still be able to have the AC unit installed, it just won't be plug and play so you'll need to have someone with experience do the installation.
