Question:

I am wondering if I can use this bar to substitute for the L shaped bar on Swagman product 64664XC RV2 Bike Rack. The bike rack I have is made to use with an RV and I am trying to convert to use with my SUV which already has a 2 inch receiver installed. 2017 Acura RDX Using the L shaped bar that comes with the rack raises my bikes higher off the ground so that they sit above the trailer hitch, and it also requires an extra long trailer hitch arm to give room to attach the bike rack. I dont have that long of a trailer hitch arm, and would prefer to just directly attach it to my hitch receiver. If this isnt the right part for that, can you tell me which part would work? If you need photos, let me know.

There isn't a standard shank that your Swagman Traveller can use to fit a hitch like a standard hitch bike rack.

Your best option would be the Swagman XC part # S64650 which is similar but does fit a standard trailer hitch like you are looking for.
