Question:
I purchased a hitch from your company a few weeks ago for our 2013 Santa Fe. It is the class 3 hitch with 900 lbs hitch weight. I want to buy a 60 inch cargo carrier with one of your cargo bags. My question is, can you attach a bike carrier to the cargo carrier? I see the square tube runs to the back of the carrier. I dont want to attach the bikes to the roof but if you have any suggestions that would allow me to carry some cargo and bikes attached to the hitch, that would be great.

It looks like you purchased Curt trailer hitch # C13153. With any of the trailer hitch mount cargo carriers that we carry you cannot insert a bike rack in the square tube that runs down the middle of the carrier. There is no pin hole and the extension of that set up would be too much torque even for a Class III trailer hitch.
You could use dual receiver adapter # D-192. You would put the bike rack in the top and the cargo carrier in the bottom. However, the bikes will hang down over the carrier platform and you would not be able to put cargo on the carrier. Also the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch would be reduced by 50 percent because of the use of the adapter.
We do have a cargo carrier that you can also add a bike adapter bar to in order to use the carrier for cargo or bikes, but not both together. Take a look at cargo carrier # 6501 and adapter # 6505. You can see the adapter just bolts on and will allow you to carry bikes on the carrier.
The other option is to put cargo on the roof instead of the bikes. We have many options for roof mount cargo bags, boxes, and baskets. I recommend a bag like the Yakima FarOut Pro, # Y07173. This bag will fit with or without a roof rack and has 13 cubic feet of space. I have linked the other naked roof or roof rack cargo bags for you.
If you go with a roof mount cargo bag be sure to check the owners manual or with Hyundai for the roof capacity before loading. To avoid scratches to the roof I also recommend protective pad # RL100650.
