The bx2514 tow plate for a 2000 Miata is a fixed arm tow plate. Do you make one with removable arms for that model car ?

Currently the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 711-4 is the only base plate we have available for your 2000 Mazda Miata with removable arms. As you were looking at the Blue Ox # BX2514 I am assuming you have a Blue Ox tow bar. You can use the Roadmaster Adapter Kit # RO64FR to use the Roadmaster base plate with your Blue Ox tow bar. The base plate will require a Quick Disconnect Crossbar # 910021-00.
The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 will allow you to use the tail lights on your Miata rather than needing Magnetic Lights # TL21RK.
Be sure to check the state laws on the maximum allowed vehicle flat towed weight without a braking system. Your Miata is very light but there are still several states that will require your Miata brakes to activate. The Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524 will allow you to meet the state law requirements and help reduce wear on the brake of your towing vehicle.
