Will a 1999 chevrolet CK bumper fit a 1997 Chevrolet CK bumper?

It truly depends on the model. Most of the time, manufacturers create specific models of bumpers to fit specific years/makes/models of truck. They also make specific mounting hardware for installation.
With that being said, sometimes there is overlap of compatibility between the two vehicles. For example, the Westin Fey Diamonstep with Mounting Hardware # 20009-92230 happens to fit both 1999 and 1997 models (as long as they aren't flareside or stepside models).
If you know the model of bumper you have, feel free to respond to this answer with that number, and I would be happy to confirm the fitment on a 1997 C/K for you.
