I am a bit confused as the part number doesnt begin with an N. It is just 2826 as shown in the picture. will N2826 work?

Yes, even though your lock core doesn't have the "N" at the beginning, the Replacement Key for Thule Racks and Carriers # THKEYN2826 will still work as a direct replacement.
