Question:
What is the overall dimension of this POL fitting 37207-30105 once it is threaded into the propane tank? Does 37207-30105 POL fitting provide a better seal for preventing leaks at the tank than the Acme Type 1 Male fitting item # 37207-30215? Do you sell a stainless overbraid POL x 1/4inch male inverted flare 12inch lg or shorter pigtail to attach to the POL fitting and my regulator? I am trying to add a connection at my propane tanks on my trailer in front of the 2 stage regulator to supply gas to a small Coleman grill but I want to keep the connections as short and as compact as I can at the propane tanks. My current set up is two 2 12inch ACME to 1/4inch male inverted flare pigtails. Which adapter would you recommend I go with with to accomplish my objective? Thank You for your response and advise

The Propane T-Fitting for Small Appliance # 37207-30105 has an overall length of 4-1/4" long. With it screwed into a propane tank you will have around 3-5/8" sticking out depending on your valve on the propane tank.
The POL Fitting # 37207-30105 is required on some propane tanks as not all tanks will have the connection for a Type 1 connection. I do find that the POL connection is better than using a T-Fitting # 37207-30215 since the POL has its own O-ring that will ensure the tank does not leak. This O-ring is also easy to visually inspect and replace yourself. The seal inside a Type 1 propane tank requires the tank to be serviced by a certified propane filling station as they will change the entire valve.
The only stainless steel braided lines we have will have the Type 1 fittings. We do have the GasGear 90-Degree Propane Hose # GS97FR that you could use with a Propane T-Fitting # 37207-30215 since the elbow helps to reduce the distance.
