Does Jounce Bumper Get Removed when Installing AirLift Suspension Enhancement on a 2005 Chevy Malibu

Question:
I currently have the AirLift 1000 part AL60776 and would like to install on a 2005 Chevy Malibu. The installation instructions do not include any information on whether the jounce bumper needs to be removed or if it can remain in place. I am wondering if I can leave it in place, or if it needs to go? It appears that the bag will fit between the jounce bumper and frame when installed per the manufacturers directions, but I am wondering if it will function properly if the jounce bumper is not removed. Thank you for your assistance.

The installation instructions for the AirLift kit # AL60776 can be a little confusing. But after reviewing them on a 2005 Chevy Malibu you will not do anything with the jounce bumper. Just leave it in place. Do not remove the bumper because that can cause fit and performance issues.
