Troubleshooting An EC Error Code On A Fogatti Tankless Water Heater

Question:

Water heater is showing Ec code but it is getting properly supply gas pressure. I have flushed the lines, tried 3 different new propane tanks and even changed out the regulator. I believe the issue is in the circuit board. Please help

The first thing I would check on your Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB44FR is that the internal gas cap was removed from the gas line input. You'll be able to attach the line with the cap still on so it's something that many others have overlooked.

If the cap is off and you're still getting this error I would unhook the power to the unit to reset it and then test the voltage running to the unit to ensure it's getting 12v to properly operate.

If it's still giving you issues you'll want to reach out to the manufacturer, LaSalle Bristol, for a replacement circuit board.
