My first thought on recommending a replacement for your Fantastic Vent Fan Model 8000, is the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, # MA00-06401K. This is a 4-speed fan with ceiling fan mode that circulates air when vent is closed. It is a manual opening model and has a built-in rain shield that protects the interior of your RV or camper from rainwater.
The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, # MA00-07500K is a similar model but has a thermostat and 10 speed motor if you prefer those options.
