Question:
Product number RP85FR Good afternoon, I was wondering if anything else is needed to install and tow a 30.5 12k lbs fifth wheel on a 2018 f-250 with a bandw hideaway 2 5/16 ball for clearance or turning without worrying too much. Or any other items required for install such as chains or wiring. Thanks

Since your 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty already has the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs item # BWGNRK1116 you can use the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches item # BWGNXA4085 for additional clearance. This ball extender moves the pivot point of your trailer 4" rearward to provide additional cab clearance.
The Reese Goose Box item # RP85FR does not come with safety chains. You will need the Tow Ready Safety Chain Kit item # 49150.
You may also want the Bulldog Winch Portable Air Compressor - 150 psi - 1.6 cfm Maximum Air Flow item # BDW41002 to add air while you are on the go to your Reese Goose Box.
To make towing with your trailer easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector for Aluminum Beds - 10' Long item # C57010 to your 2018 Ford F-250. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
