2013 honda ridgeline: I finally found towing wire hookups and I think I found a kit to hook up to truck. but it ends in 7 pin connector and trailer has a 4 pin flat connector. Can you lead me to the right parts or part numbers I need to hook up the trailer lights?

It sounds like the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118253 is the wiring kit you found for your 2013 Honda Ridgeline. Most people will choose to use an Adapter # 37385 to go from the vehicle 7-way to trailer 4-way flat connector.
I find using the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket # HM40975 as being the better option. This connector will replace the 7-way that is included in the Tekonsha Kit # 118253 and you will not need an adapter. This is also better than using just a Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM43125 as you may need the 7-way for a different trailer in the future.
