Comparing RC Manufacturing and UWS A-Frame Trailer Toolbox

Question:

With regards to RC Manufacturing 350970 and UWS UWS04530 aluminum tongue trailer tool boxes, which one is better quality? The RC Manufacturing tool box seems to be heavier and with a thicker grade aluminum. I live in Moncton, New Brunswick Canada. Just trying to figure out which brand is better quality to have delivered to Canada

Both the RC Manufacturing T-Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box - A-Frame - Aluminum - 2.6 Cu Ft - Silver # 350970 and UWS A-Frame Trailer Toolbox - Low Profile - 2.9 cu ft - Bright Aluminum # UWS04530 are good choices. Both are well constructed and will do a great job keeping the contents dry and protected.

Since you won't see a major difference between the two, I recommend the # UWS04530. The reason I would choose this one over the other is the additional space. It is slightly larger with 2.9 cu ft of usable space. It uses .063 aluminum tread plate and a patented foam-filled lid for insulation and protection. One other thing to consider is that this tool box has a limited lifetime warranty. The # 350970 only has a 1-year warranty.
