You can add a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform rack to the Thule tracks on your Leer topper, though not with the Backbone system, as the Backbone is designed to fit specific vehicle roofs as a way to mount the Pioneer. So what you will need instead is the following:

- Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount # RR67QX

The # RR67QX comes with the 60" x 49" platform, legs, and channel adapters which allow you to mount the legs directly into the tracks on your Leer camper shell.

You can then carry whatever gear you like, and easily tie it down with the Eye Bolt Kit for Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack # RR43178.

Kyle, I am having trouble finding part number RR67QX. Is this something that you guys still sell? I am looking to mount the rhino rack pioneer platform rack on the factory installed thule tracks on my leer truck topper. Thank you, Jim

@Jim Sadly, the # RR67QX is no longer available. It is possible to add a pioneer platform to a camper shell but you would have to add a roof rack system like part # Y02-480B then mount a pioneer platform for crossbars.
