Question:

Will this roof rack work for a 2013 Toyota Rav 4 with factory crossbars. I have factory roof rails and factory crossbars and I would like to carry 2 kayaks.

According to Thule, their Hull-A-Port # TH834 is compatible with the factory roof rack on your 2013 Toyota RAV4. For two kayaks, you would need two carriers.

If your kayaks are less than 10 feet long, you could use the Thule Stacker, part # TH830 which can carry two kayaks with no problem. The Stacker is also compatible with your factory rack.

Both the Hull-A-Port and the Stacker include straps and bow/stern tie-downs, but I would highly recommend the Thule Hood Loops, part # TH529. The Hood Loops would install by closing them in the hood, providing fast and easy tie down points instead of using metal hooks that could scratch your vehicle. The etrailer tie-down kit # e36ZRcomes with both straps and anchors like the # TH529 but they can go in the hood or the hatch. A tire step like # HE4040 would make loading and unloading roof-mounted cargo much easier and safer.
