I have a Bauer BP-27 Heavy Duty Compression Latch on my toy hauler and looking for additional security by putting a padlock. Other padlocks do not fit in side the handle of the BP27 too bulky. Would this padlock fit in the handle and can the lock be keyed to the latch key? Thanks...

I went out to the warehouse and grabbed the Bauer Products Compression Latch # BA87FR and Bauer Products Padlock # BA46VR and was able to get the padlock to sit inside of the handle. It is a tight fit to get the body of the padlock in the handle but it can be done.
Both the latch and the padlock only come keyed alike with other latches or padlocks so you would have to have a professional locksmith rekey the locks to have them alike.
