Can Bikes Be Canted When Mounted In The RockyMounts Truck Bed Track for Fork Mount Bike Racks?

Question:
Any experience with fitting a pair of 29er emtb 50” wheelbase in a 18 ridgeline with tailgate UP? I’m thinking if the fork mounts are placed near the ends of the track, the bikes can be swung together so the rear wheels touch, allowing the tailgat to be shut.

I do not have any experience with that, however don't see why that shouldn't work for your 29ER eMTB. As long as you can manipulate the fork mounts to be at the angle you need, you should be good to go.
I did look up the bed size on for you 2018 Honda Ridgeline, and it appears that you have a 63.6" bed, so with the front wheel off and mounted into the RockyMounts Truck Bed Track for Fork Mount Bike Racks # RKY10993, you should have enough clearance to mount your bikes normally rather than angled like you mentioned.
