Installation of Jensen RV Stereo JWM60A

Question:
I have a 2008 Winnebago Sightseer and want to purchase the Jensen jwm62a. I looked at the wiring harness and there is no lead to the 12vdc battery power like my current radio. Does the new unit only function when you turn on the ignition? How do you watch a dvd when parked?

The Jensen RV Stereo, # JWM60A should have the 12V switched line, pin 15 connected to power. You can connect this directly to the battery. Please note the attached wiring schematic, pin 15.
