How do I get the Trailer Harness Outside of My CR-V?

Question:
In the video it look like he only ran the harness to the spare tire area, how do you get it to the outside of the vehicle where the hitch is?

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118741 hangs over the back bumper through the rear cargo area when it is in use. The door closing on the wires will not damage it. When its not in use you just roll it up and secure it underneath the floor in your CR-V.
