Gooseneck Hitch Ball Fit for 2021 Ram 3500

Looking for a gooseneck 2-5/16” ball for a 21 ram 3500 without chain hooks. Pop in/removeable ball

The solution you'll need will depend on how your truck is currently equipped.

If your 2021 Ram 3500 has the factory puck system and the factory gooseneck hitch, I'd highly recommend the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit, part # BWGNXA2062. Curt and Reese also offer options, but the B&W is superior because the release latch for the ball is on the side of the ball instead of on top of the ball where it can be damaged by the gooseneck coupler if it's dropped on the ball the wrong way. The kit also includes the safety chain anchors that install into two of the factory pucks.

If you do NOT have the factory puck system, Ram has already installed the hitch mounting rail assembly under the truck bed. All you'll need to do is drill the 3-3/8 inch diameter hole in the bed and mount the # DT89MR hitch to the existing rails with the provided hardware. You'll also need to drill holes for the safety chain anchors as shown in the linked installation instructions.

If you don't already have a 7-way connector in the truck bed, you can install one using part # C56000.
