Recommended Anti-Lock Braking System For Hydraulic Disc Brakes On Alliance Paradigm 5th Wheel

Will this system work with Disc-Brakes? More specifically I want to install an anti-lock disc brake system on a pair of 7,000 Lbs. Dexter axles. I am considering Kodiak 13 inch rotors with ABS wheel sensors, backing plates, calipers and the 335ABS-DLNE-1000 Direct Link/ActuLink System. To be installed on an Alliance Paradigm 5th wheel currently with Disc Brakes. Will the factory calipers work?

The # 335ABS-DLNE-1000 is designed to be used with hydraulic drum brakes. What you want instead is the Tuson 4 Channel Towable Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for Hydraulic Disc Brakes # 335ABS-DLNE-1600. To complete your towable anti-lock braking system for trailers with Kodiak disc brakes, you'll also need:

Wheel Sensors for Kodiak Disc Brakes # 335R955335 (1' long leads) or # 335R955341 (5-3/4' long leads)
Wheel Sensor Mount Kit # 335ABS-SENS-ASSY
Wheel Speed Sensor Cable # 335449-713-018 (6' long) # 335449-713-030 (10' long) # 335449-713-050 (16' long) # 335449-713-090 (30' long)

Each of the 4 wheel speed sensor cable lengths will be determined by the mounting location of the ABS control module. For Kodiak brakes, you will want the entire kit like # K2HR758DDS. You will have to use Kodiak calipers and not the factory calipers. The Kodiak calipers that come with the disc brake kit are specifically made for the included rotors and the only confirmed option.

I have attached some review videos for your reference. I also included a link to all of our Kodiak disc brake kits for 7,000 lb axles that you can check out.
