Question:
Retrax Pro XR for 2018 Ford F150 How much clearance is there inside of the bed when the cover is closed? I know there are a couple pieces that appear to hang down slightly more in a couple spots. but overall what is the clearance height, bottom of bed to tonneau cover? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The rails for the RetraxPRO XR sit on top of your 2018 Ford F-150 bed rails so you will have clearance from the bottom of your truck bed to the top of your bed rails. There are parts that hang down a little further like the clamps, but overall you will have that standard clearance. The canister that the tonneau cover stores inside measures 13-1/2" deep x 12" tall so you will lose that much space at the cab-end of your bed.
The correct tonneau cover depends on what size bed you have:
5-1/2' Bed - # RTT-80373
6-12' Bed - # RTT-80374
8' Bed - # RTT-80375
