Question:

I want to get my new 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid set up with a hitch and a bike rack. We will mostly just be carrying 2 bikes, but there will be times we need to carry 4. Is there a good rack to do this with? And, what hitch will work with the rack? Thanks for your help.

To get your 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid set up to carry a bike rack, I recommend starting with the Curt # C13397 hitch. This American made hitch will require no drilling to get installed, but you will need to trim the fascia a little to get it fitting properly. This is also a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and will open up a lot of options for bike racks, so it is highly recommended.

As to the bike rack, I recommend the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV. Yes, this is just a 2 bike rack, but if you also get the 2 Bike Add-On # TH9036XT, it can easily be attached and now it's a 4 bike rack, which is exactly what you are looking for. With this also being an American made rack, the # TH83JV with the # TH9036XT 2 bike add-on will be the best option for what you need.
