Not at all! The only difference between Thule RideAlong # TH100107 and RideAlong Lite # TH100110 is that the normal version has the ability to recline some while the lite version is fixed. I recommend going with the normal version as that recline feature will give you the best option to get your child comfortable for the bike ride.
