Will Edge Programmer Void Vehicle Warranty
Published 12/09/2021 >
Question:
Does it void warranty?
asked by: Brandon L
Helpful Expert Reply:
Installing the Edge CTS3 part # EP49YR will not void the factory warranty on your vehicle under most circumstances. Consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss warranty act that states, in part, that unless the part added actually causes a problem, then installation and use of the part will not void the warranty.
We recommend removing the programmer before going to the dealer for any warranty work just to prevent any possible issues. Most dealers won't mind but some can be difficult.
