Question:
I have a 2000 Ford f650 and would like to add a trailer brake controller. Is there a wiring connector to plug into the factory wiring under the dash?

Not that we know of, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Brake controller manufacturers only check the most popular vehicles for that kind of thing and since most people don't drive around an F-650 it's possible they haven't even seen one. Regardless, we will be able to get your controller installed so I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is super easy to use and can be configured to a few different trailers so it's easy to change your settings.
What you'll need to do is check under the driver's side dash and look for a standalone plug that is tucked up in your wiring or that might be behind your dash trim. If you can't find a plug/connector then look for loose wiring that has 4 or 5 wires.
If you have a plug then it would likely match up with the Adapter # 3035-P which is for the 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty, but you'll want to check out the connector and make sure that it has the same design. If you don't have the plug then you'll need to use a tester to see what wires you'll need to connect the brake controller to. Here are the functions that the bare wiring from the controller will need to connect to:
Blue - 7-Way Output to Trailer
Black - 12V Power
White - Ground
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake pedal is pressed)
Let me know if you aren't able to find any of this and I'll see what else we can do to get your brake controller installed.
