The dimensions of the bottom basket of the Viking Solutions Stack Rack II 2-Level Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs, part # 310-VSR201, are approximately 32" L X 17" W X 8" D. The distance from the top of the bottom basket to the bottom of the top basket is about 20". Another feature of this Stack Rack is the height adjustability. This rack has five height settings about 7" apart, so if you need more than the 28" of space from the bottom of the lower basket to the bottom of the upper basket, you can move the upper basket to a higher setting. This will allow you to carry items from 28" to 35" tall in the bottom basket.
