You will need five things to flat tow your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The first thing you will need is a tow bar. Your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited can weigh up to 5,103 lbs dry, so I would suggest getting a tow bar rated for at least 6,000 lbs. I am a big fan of Demco, so my recommendation would be the Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar - Victory Series - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs, part # DM9511008. This tow bar is non-binding, meaning you can easily release your vehicle, even on uneven ground. This tow bar comes with safety cables attached and independent, fully articulating arms. The head adjusts up and down 3", keeping the tow bar parallel with the ground.

Next you will need to be able to attach this tow bar to your vehicle, so you will need the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, part # BX1139, and the Blue Ox Base Plate Adapter Brackets for Demco Tow Bars, part # BX88310. This base plate works only works with the plastic factory bumper. After the installation of this base plate you can use the adapter brackets to attach the Demco tow bar to the Blue Ox base plate.

The last items you will need for your flat tow system are a supplemental braking system for your vehicle and the wiring so your towed vehicles lights mirror the lights of your RV. The supplemental braking system I recommend is the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink Monitor - Proportional, part # DM86VR. It is a proportional braking system, which means the force you apply to your RV's brakes will be applied to the towed vehicle's brakes. This helps to reduce brake wear and it helps when you need to make sudden stops. The Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154, will allow the towed vehicle's lights to mirror the lights of your RV. This way when you need to signal a turn or brake the towed vehicle's lights will indicate that to the vehicles behind you.
