What Size Cut Out Is Needed To Install The SE94FR Deck Plate

What size hole is needed? I think the 6” is the opening of the plate after install?

I went and measured the Seaflo Deck Plate for Boats # SE94FR and you are correct. The hole this will actually fit in will be just a hair over 6-3/8". The 6" measurement is the opening of the plate itself.
