Question:

I have a MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Model 4700G. Will this cover work for this fan? It doesnt appear that the vent lid will open fully. Since this has an electric open, will this affect the motor when the vent lid is stopped by the vent cover?

The MaxxAir FanMate RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA00-955001 is specifically designed to fit your MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Model 4700G on your 2021 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel.

The MaxxFan Plus models have mounting tabs on the base of the fan that allow for the FanMate cover to slip over and attach with the provided 4 pins. There is no need for drilling into the flange and mounting the included brackets to fit your vent. I have linked a video below that shows you how they will fit on your vent.

As the FanMate is specifically designed to work with your MaxxFan Plus vent the lid will be able to fully open and it will not affect the motor.

The cover is also available in Black # MA00-955002 if you prefer for it to block light, or Smoke # MA00-955003 if all your roof top fixtures are black and you would like to match but still let in light.
