To get the Yakima Overhaul rack, like # Y01151-57, installed with a tonneau cover, first you will need the Tonneau Cover Adapter Kit for Yakima OverHaul HD and OutPost HD Truck Bed Ladder Racks # Y01155. The RetraxONE XR # RTX62GR will work very nicely with the Yakima Overhaul cover, but you are correct in that you will be loosing a little bed space with the canister and will need to drill holes for the drain tubes.

Unfortunately, with how the Yakima OverHaul installs on the bed of a truck, it does require an adapter (which is the # Y01155). Without this adapter, it will sit inside the bed rails and not allow a tonneau cover to be installed.

However, if you do not have any of the components as of yet though, I do have another option.
