Question:

do you sell a LED light fixture with a red lens that fits the VueSmart bracket. My intention is to mount this on a Scamp 16 trailer and add a third brake light using a light fixture mounted with the camera. Thanks,

You can fit the Optronics LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL32RBB to the VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera # HM34FR. The Optronics light has a black base to match the base of the VueSMART camera.

Since you are wanting to use the light as a 3rd brake light rather than a running light you will need a 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 to separate the brake light signal from the turn signals on your Scamp 16 trailer. This will require you to run wiring from both tail lights up to where you intend to mount the camera and light.

The camera will get its power(red wire) from the running lights circuit of your Scamp. This will ensure that power only goes to the camera when you have your running lights on. The brake light module will tie into the left turn signal/brake light and right turn signal/brake light. The yellow wires from the module will connect to these wires. The green light from the module will run to the black wire of the Optronics light. Both the black wire from the camera and white wire from the light will need to connect to the ground wires of the tail light circuit.
