Question:
Perhaps you can help. I know that Rhino makes feet to connect to my factor mount points. Essentially the RR mount points are just threaded holes recessed in channels in the roof. However - I cannot find their full sized racks that mount this way. They seem to imply one must use the silly crossbars first. Clearly this is silly as this would be redundant, not as secure and raise the profile even higher. I simply want to mount a full length rack such as their Tradie directly to my 6 or 8 factory points. The new websites try to be clever and find things that fit your vehicle, yet often things are overlooked and it makes it difficult to find the correct information. The Rhino site is so overly controlled - it will not even conduct a search without entering the vehicle registration. Very big brother. Seems Australia-centric as well. Thanks for you assistance.

In a lot of cases there are ways to directly fit a Pioneer Platform like the # RR89QX to a set of Rhino Rack RCL Legs # RRRCL6, but there is not a fit kit that will allow you to attach the RCL legs to your 2006 Range Rover HSE. The 2006 Land Rover Range Rover HSE only has fit kits for the RCH legs and this is what is keeping you from connecting directly to the roof in the manner that you're seeking.
With that said, you can install a roof rack using parts # RRVA137B-3, # RRRCH6 and # RRRCP05-BK and then attach a universal Pioneer platform # RR42115BF; there's also a larger platform that will fit on the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero crossbars # RRVA137B-3 with the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 84" Long x 49" Wide # Y05047-39.
In this case, you're limited by what is available for your vehicle, but there are still options.
