2009 Land Rover Range Rover Pioneer Platform Compatibility

Question:
Hello, I was originally looking at the roof rack kit by Rhino Rack for a 2009 Range Rover full size but instead of using the aero bars, I was hoping to fit a Rhino Pioneer Platform straight onto the legs. Can you confirm if this will work please with purchasing just the feet and legs, then the spacers and platform. Do you know how many of the spacer blocks I would need? The primary use of the rack would be for a roof top tent so I think the platform would be a lot sturdier. Thanks! Christopher

Your best option is to attach a Rhino Rack roof rack to your vehicle and then a Pioneer Platform to the Rhino Rack roof rack. That is the only way you can attach a Pioneer Platform to your vehicle and it be covered by their warranty. Unfortunately, there is not a tested fit for your 2009 Land Rover Range Rover which will allow you to mount a Pioneer Platform directly to Rhino Rack legs.
My rack recommendation is the 2009 Land Rover Range Rover Roof Rack by Rhino Rack. It has a weight limit of 220lbs. It consists of;
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 54" Long - Qty 3, part # RRVA137B-3,
RCH Legs for Rhino-Rack Crossbars and Pioneer Platforms - Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 6, part # RRRCH6,
Custom RCP Fit Kit for 6 Rhino-Rack RC and RV Series Roof Rack Legs - Fixed Mounting Points, part # RRRCP05-BK, and
Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum, part # RR42114BF, or part # RRR42115BF.
This rack has three crossbars that attach to fixed mounting points of your roof. Both of these Pioneer Platforms come with the hardware to mount to the roof rack.
I have included product description links and video review links below.
