Question:

I have a Warn 2.5 ci winch mounted on a Kubota RTV UTV. I need to replace the wire rope. It has 50 ft of 3/16 cable. Can I use this 60 ft or do I have to stay with 50 ft? Will this or the 50 ft mount on the Warn, is the non hook end ready to use? Thanks.

When replacing the cable on your Warn 2.5ci, you have to stay with the 45 ft cable, such as Bulldog Winch # BDW20222 that you referenced. I spoke to my contact at Warn and he said the drum on your winch cannot hold any more than 50 feet.

The non hook end is a severed blunt end and would be ready to install on your winch.

If you need additional tow length, I recommend the 20 ft Tow Strap by Erickson # EM59798. This strap has a 22,500 lb break strength and 10,000 safe working load limit.
