What is the highest quality, easiest-to-install, sturdiest trailer hitch for my 2011 Toyota Highlander front wheel drive, 6 cylinder ?

Of the available hitch choices for your 2011 Toyota Highlander, the etrailer brand Class III hitch, part # e98858 is what I'd recommend due to its 750 lb tongue weight capacity and its matte finish that seems to stand out less than the glossy finished used on the other options. The hitch won't interfere with your spare tire, and the hitch has a similar degree of difficulty as the rest of the options as far as the installation goes.

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118449, a ball mount like # 2753 and a trailer ball like # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
