Question:
Hi, I have this 13245 on my 2008 Jeep Liberty. Looking for a Weight Distribution/ Sway control to add stability for towing a 4x8 utility trailer that I use regularly which sways over 40MPH when loaded, and for a UHAUL cargo trailer 4x8, or 5x8 which will be towed by the Jeep from Alabama to Massachusetts. Will not be exceeding the recommended tow weights for the trailers, or the Jeep. Looking for options for weight distribution and sway control that will work formy set up and are under Any suggestions?

The sway you are experiencing is not going to be fixed by a weight distribution system. What you will need to do is move as much weight forward in the trailer as possible and also make sure the trailer is sitting level as well and the sway you mentioned will go away.
Picking out the correct ball mount will allow your trailer to sit as level as possible. Basically you will first measure the height from the ground to the top of the receiver opening on the hitch while on level ground. Next, you will measure the coupler height from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler when the trailer is on level ground.
Next, you will need to compute the difference. If the hitch height is greater than the coupler height the difference is the drop required. If the coupler height is greater the difference is the rise required. You will want to pick the ball mount with the rise/drop closest to the difference.
I attached an FAQ that details how to pick out the correct ball mount.
