Question:

I have a Lexus GX470 2003. Your website says this part fits ... HM43374. But it looks to me like the straight-shaped connector on my car is FEMALE and the corresponding straight-shaped connector on the wiring harness of the HM43374 is also FEMALE. Can you determine if/how it fits?

Thank you for the photo, and if you have two female connectors on your 2003 Lexus GX 470 (I can't quite tell from the photo) then you are correct that you will not be able to use the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Flat Connectors # HM43374.

This has one male and one female connector, so it wouldn't line up, though I do know we have had customers use this on their '03 GX 470, but it's certainly possible your connectors are different for one reason or another. You can still add a 4-way and 7-way, but you would need to hardwire it in with the following:

- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7
