Question:
Will these work on my truck. They are electric moveable mirror? I do not have led dir or heated mirrors now. I was told by my dealer that I would have to have software activaTED TO MAKE EVERYTHING WORK. iS THIS TRUE. tHEY ARE SAYING $150.00 TO DO THIS. It does not make sense. Is it hard to install and get the door panels off? On my 1999 chev 1500, it was very easey to put muth mirros on my truck. No problem removing the door panels either. Please let me know right a way, also the total cost. Thank you

It is necessary that your vehicle OEM mirrors already have these same functions (power adjustment, heat and turn signals) in order to have them work with the K-Source mirrors. The K-Source mirrors connect using the vehicle OEM wiring harness (please see included photo of the mirror connector). This wiring has to already have the capability of delivering the required 12V power and turn signals. These functions will not work unless the OEM mirrors have these same functions already, or unless the dealer makes the necessary modifications to your vehicle.
The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror, part # KS62093G, is a passenger-side replacement mirror equipped with turn signals, heat and electric adjustment of the main mirror. The corresponding driver-side mirror is part # KS62094G, or both mirrors can be ordered as a set, part # KS62093-94G.
The mirrors can fold flat against the truck for parking or maneuvering in tight spaces and extend out 4-inches for better towing visibility; please note that the extension and folding functions are both manual.
The K-Source mirrors mount in the same place as the OEM mirrors. A trim panel removal tool, such as # ALL648544, might be helpful. Installation is completed with basic hand tools.
