Recommended Trailer Hitch, Wiring Harness, and Ball Mount For 2018 Lexus RX 350 Towing Trailer

Question:

Hello Expert, I have 2018 Lexus RX350 with towing preparation package installed. It does not have hitch. I am planning to use RX350 for uhaul trailer 4x8 rent. Could you please let me know which Hitch you recommended or anything else ? Please also recommend Ball mount, Ball and Wiring I should buy for above rental for recommended clearance ?

For your 2018 Lexus RX 350 I recommend the Class III etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e94AR which is a confirmed fit for your RX 350.

For a vehicle wiring harness I recommend the # 118252 since you mentioned you have the factory towing package. This will plug in directly to the factory port underneath the driver side of your rear bumper.

Moving on to a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip I recommend going with the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 as it includes two ball mounts, one with 1" rise and 2" drop, and another with 3" rise and 4" drop to give you the most options to tow the 4' x 8' trailer you are planning on renting level. The included 1-7/8" hitch ball and 2" hitch ball will make sure you have the correct ball for the trailer.
