Selecting The Correct SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps

Question:

Hi, just wanted to make sure on correct way to measure my door frame for Lippert Solidsteps. In your measuring section on the website, it says to measure between the door frame flanges, but when I loop at Lipperts install videos they say to measure at the door frames widest point inside. My door frame measures 24 inches between the flanges, but measures 25.5 inches at the widest point outside the flanges. Will the LC733931 steps work for these dimensions? I just dont want to buy the wrong steps. Thanks!

Go with your measurement of having 24" at the widest unobstructed point, I suggest you go with the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 24" Wide RV Door Frames, # LC713662. Not the # LC733931 SolidStep for 25" - 28-7/8" Wide RV Door Frames.
