Is it safe to tow just the dolly by itself? And what would be the approximate young weight of the unloaded dolly?

I reached out to my contact at Demco and you can absolutely tow your Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly # DM9713045 without a vehicle on it but there are a few things you will need to do differently.
First instead of removing the pin to allow the dolly to self steer you will need to leave the pin installed. Next you will need to keep to a speed of 55 MPH max. Lastly you will need to air the tires down to around 20 PSI to keep the dolly from bouncing uncontrollably. You may need to go a bit lower if the dolly is still bouncing.
The tongue weight of the # DM9713045 unloaded will be approximately 65lbs-115lbs.
