Question:
Is the length of a Reese Goose Box longer than the corresponding Lippert pin boxes for each model? Im currently using a slider with a 2020 Montana HC 294RL in a F350 short bed and would like to make sure Ill have enough turning clearance before committing to changing out to a Reese Goose Box.

The length from the center of the goose ball connection to the center of the front mounting bolts on the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR is the same as the length of the Lippert 1621 Pin Box # LC1387883 on your 2020 Montana High Country 294RL.
At 17-3/4" you will continue to have the same amount of clearance that you have currently with your slider hitch in the towing position.
There are Offset Gooseneck Balls # BWGNXA4085, # 19308, # 16055 that fit different gooseneck ball mounts that will give you a give you a few extra inches of turning clearance.
A Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216 can be used with one of the offset gooseneck balls to ensure you have enough clearance to perform a full 90 degree turn without contacting the cab on your F-350. The adapter adds 7-1/2" of offset to your current pin box on your Montana and will provide a cushioned ride.
