Where Does 3031-P Tekonsha Brake Controller Harness Install on 2016 Toyota Tacoma

Question:
Hi, I have a 2016 Tacoma with Tow Package. I ordered a Draw-Tite I-Command Brake Control and a 3031-P O.E.M. Wiring Harnesswhich is recommended for my 2016 Tacoma. The electric brake controls harness in my Tacoma does not fit into the mating white housing from the brake controller adapter. The brake control adapter is rectangular and my Tacoma electric brake control harness is angled from back to front on both ends. What to do?

Most likely you have found the wrong connector for the install of your brake controller # 5535 with the # 3031-P that you referenced. I attached a picture that shows where you'll find it for you to check out that hopefully gets you to the right connector.
